Simultaneous translation will be provided. Registration Desk The registration desks will be open on May 5- 8; from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Badges Only persons with conference badges are allowed to attend the sessions. Certificate of Attendance A Certificate of Attendance with participant will be prepared and available in your conference kit. Projection Service A “slide-room” will be at the disposal of the speakers. The slides shall be deposited in the “slide-room” at least 30 minutes before the meeting. they should be taken back after the presentation. Also there will be a PC (Windows 98, Microsoft Office 2000) for PowerPoint projection. All file formats for MS Office 95/97/2000 will be supported. For the ones who requireit, a video player will be supplied. Airport Transfer Service TIJO EVENTS will provide private transfer for participants who requested airport transfer by filling the accommodation form previously. Shuttle service by Havas (public transportation service) and taxi are also available. Invitation Letter Official invitation letter can be provided by TIJO EVENTS. Invitation letter is NOT representing any confirmation of registration and / or accommodation. Exhibition The exhibition will be held in the Congress venue. Exhibitors will display the very latest developments in equipment and services. Organizations and companies that are interested in participating in the exhibition are requested to contact the Congress Secretariat. Credits The Turkish Medical Association will be awarding CME credits to participants of each congress session. Accompanying Person Participants are kindly requested to register accompanying person(s) at the same time to avoid confusion. If in doubt, information can be obtained from your nearest Turkish Embassy or Consulate. The Congress will not be responsible for these matters. Importation, use and trade of narcotics are illegal and subject to severe punishments. Also there are very strict rules on the export of antiquities. Import limits include 200 cigarettes and 150 cc alcohol Health Regulations A current valid international vaccination certificate is required from participants coming from infected areas. It is highly recommended to obtain this diplomatic mission of  Turkey in participants country or by airline company Language The official language is Turkish. In areas frequented by tourists it is easy to find many bilingual citizens. Weather The temperature in Istanbul in May is around 20 degrees Celsius and ranges from 13 - 18 degrees Celsius. What To Wear It is advised to bring warm clothing, raincoats, coats and umbrellas. Time Turkey is two hours ahead of GMT. Electricity The electric current is 220V AC with a frequency of 50 Hertz. European standard plugs with two round pins are used. British and USA appliances need an adaptor
